Shield AI is a defense technology company that provides both software and hardware autonomous solutions for the United States and allies. Shield AI's core product, Hivemind is an AI pilot that allows both drones and aircraft to operate autonomously and fully independent from operators without the need for GPS or other communications. Hivemind has the ability to analyze and adapt in complex situations to ultimately complete difficult missions while protecting military personal. Shield AI also offers two purpose built aircraft, V-BAT, a vertical take-off and landing surveillance drone designed for long range missions involving pay-loads and Nova 2 a smaller reconnaissance drone for indoor, urban and subterranean spaces.
