In 2010, Crytek announced its first free-to-play game service and a major milestone in the studio’s history, Warface, which was followed by the 2012 release of Fibble – Flick ‘n’ Roll, its debut game for mobile devices. In order to develop the free-to-play gaming model, Crytex launched GFACE in 2012, and GFACE is a social gaming hub that serves as a platform for upcoming Crytek games. Crytek won the Develop Award for Best Independent Studio in 2011 and a Red Dot Design Award in 2010.
