Berkeley Lights, Inc. (BLI) is a platform for single cell manipulation that allows for researchers to analyze cells. It aims to provide platforms that automate the manipulation and analysis of cells. The Beacon platform, the company's flagship product, is suited for cell line development, antibody discovery, gene editing, and antibody engineering workflows. The platform uses optofluidics and light-based technology to automate the work of cloning, culturing and sorting specific cells from biological samples. By automating these processes, they aim to cut the time and human labor needed to develop cell lines, discover and engineer antibodies, and do gene editing.
