EquityZen Growth Opportunity Fund IV LLC ("GOF IV") will target investments in late-stage private tech companies. Private secondary investments can provide investors with an opportunity to get exposure to companies before an IPO, and potentially participate in the upside seen between early-stage financings and later-stage Private Equity investments.
Target Company Profile:
Who should consider a managed fund investment?
If you believe in the power of the EquityZen platform for sourcing strong deal flow and you believe in the pre-IPO asset class, but you are not comfortable or otherwise do not want to select single names for investment, you should consider a managed fund investment. The fund’s investment committee will select all investments, which are a curated subset of what comes across the EquityZen platform.
If you would like your investment to give you diversified exposure to the pre-IPO asset class, but can't commit to multiple investments of $20,000, you should consider a managed fund. You will get investment exposure to 10-20 pre-IPO companies that are carefully selected by the fund’s investment committee.
There is no guarantee that the companies invested in will conduct an IPO or that the investments will appreciate in value. Investments made are generally in high-growth private companies which carry substantial risk of loss. The criteria described reflect expected portfolio rules of GOF IV. Final rules to be determined by the Investment Committee. Such rules may change from the time you receive this document and the time you receive the Offering Documents. Please refer to the Offering Documents for more information.
We reserve the right to accept or decline subscriptions for any reason, in our own discretion, including on the basis of commitment size, in light of heightened investor interest in the Fund and limited availability of remaining allocations.
