Coffee Meets Bagel (CMB) is a curated dating service that was started as a site where women could decide who they would "match" with among a group of men who expressed interest. Each day at noon, men on the dating app receive up to 21 matches – known as “bagels”. They are given the option to either "LIKE" or "PASS" on each bagel. Then, CMB will curate the best potential matches for women among the men who expressed interest. Since its founding, the app now also has users from and offers dating options for the LGBTQ community.
The company was founded in 2012 by 3 sisters and is headquartered in San Francisco.
