The Bionic Energy Harvester consists of:Energy Harvesting Knee Brace Power Control Module By wearing braces on both legs, the simple act of walking can yield an average 12 watts of electricity. Hence, one hour of walking can produce enough power to fully charge 3.5 mobile phones.Little or no additional effort is required by the user to generate energy using the brace because the generator only engages during the "braking phase", assisting muscles in slowing the body.
