Hello Investors,
Happy 2016! The public markets are already off to a rocky start, with the S&P down 1.5% on its first day of trading.
Themes for 2016
In no particular order, I'd like to share what I believe will be topics of discussion this year as it relates to pre-IPO tech companies:
  • Will private tech companies be willing to have an IPO at a lower share price than their last private round?
  • Will the cash-rich tech companies (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon) go on a spending spree for private tech companies?
  • Will the RAISE Act pave the way for simpler secondary transactions?
  • Will AdTech and E-Commerce companies make a comeback?
