About Lyft Stock
Lyft is a transportation-as-a-service company that provides ride-hail, ride-share, and autonomous vehicle services. Users are able to request rides through their mobile app. Lyft claims that its platform is available to over 95% of the U.S. population and in select Canadian cities. Lyft also allows riders to schedule rides up to seven days in advance. Its services are primarily focused on college, university, and corporate communities.
Lyft was founded in June 2012 by Logan Green and John Zimmer. The company is based in San Francisco.
