Smoke Reports are a small team based in San Francisco working hard to give cannabis the conversation it deserves through education, outreach, and technology. Smoke Reports began as a project in 2008 to trace the complex genetic history of cannabis. Today, Smoke Reports is the most advanced cannabis database on the planet with thousands of strains, extracts, edibles, and the organizations that create and provide them for you. Releasing their beta on April 20th, 2014, they hope to bring a new kind of cannabis resource to the world. One that embraces the personalized experience that cannabis is, while celebrating all of the aspects that make it great. They are working on creating a non-profit called Keep Cannabis Human to prevent cannabis from suffering the same fate as alcohol after it's end of prohibition. The non-profit would aim for research, education, and development of a platform to secure user's information from advertisers and corporations, as well as provide safe and reliable API access to cannabis data for all to share, forever.
