The company owns, manages and oversees subsidiary companies. Some companies they own wholly include GEICO, Fruit of the Loom, and Helzberg Diamonds. Berkshire Hathaway also holds a significant minority in American Express, The Coca-Cola Company, Wells Fargo, and IBM. The company is considered to be the ninth largest public company in the world, according to Forbes Global 2000 list.
