Founded by designer and entrepreneur Yves Behar and consumer technology veteran Jason Johnson, August has raised $10 million in venture funding to-date and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. The company has opened its cloud platform to trusted developer partners, vetted by August, so they can connect existing things to the platform and help grow the Internet of Things connected world.
